Carri spent over 25 years owning and operating a retained Wall Street recruiting firm, Degenhardt Consulting but decided to start something totally different and much more fun!

Carri has always been a fan of Acrylics and the medium, but was introduced to fluid art, known as ‘pour painting’ by many. As Georgia O’Keeffe once stated, “…art is when you take a space and make it pretty”. Fluid art is where science meets art.

Carri has had so much fun learning about the unusual techniques and recipes people use in it, she started painting full time. Now, in early November 2023 Carri is launching The Dirty Pour Studio and Carri Louise the Gallery in downtown Jersey City.

. You can come have a lot of fun, make a mess and someone else will clean it up. In the meantime, the staff will assist you in creating your own personal masterpiece. You will be using hairdryers and spinners, darts and much more to make your idea into a reality.

Carri Louis will feature either her own artwork or visiting artists from all over the world. her clan of artists can been seen on YouTube any day or night. Virtual masterclasses will happen in the studio, as well.
